SPT Plasmateknik AB delivers products within the Nordic region in accordance with NL 09.
NL 09 is sent out on request.
For deliveries outside the Nordic countries, the provisions of Orgalime S 2012 apply.
SPT Plasmateknik AB provides a 2-year warranty on power sources as follows
The warranty covers power sources (the product) manufactured by SPT Plasmateknik AB (the manufacturer). The warranty period is 2 years for 1 shift work. In the case of more extensive use, the warranty period is shortened accordingly.
The warranty is valid from the date of sale to the end customer, but for a maximum of 30 months after the Product has left the factory.
In the case of a guarantee claim, the date of sale must be proven.
Within the warranty period, the manufacturer is responsible for repairing or replacing the product, to the equivalent working condition before the failure occurred.
The warranty covers spare parts, as well as pre-determined flat-rate compensation for work carried out by a service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
In case of replacement of spare parts, the manufacturer reserves the right to invoice parts which are then credited after defective parts are received back.
In the event of a warranty claim, the customer shall contact a service workshop authorized by the manufacturer without delay. The manufacturer has the right to request additional information on the operating conditions before accepting the warranty claim.
In the event of a guarantee claim, the following shall be observed:
The date of purchase must be certified.
Detailed information on operating conditions (indoor/outdoor work, generator operation - type and size of generator, etc.) should be attached to the warranty claim.
The burner with the wear parts fitted at the time of the fault must be supplied with the machine.
The serial number must be clearly legible.
The user shall limit the damage as far as possible by immediately ceasing to use the suspected defective product.
Warranty repairs may only be carried out by an authorized workshop. The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse compensation in whole or in part for warranty repairs carried out by non-authorized workshops.
In the event that the manufacturer deems that the product has been used incorrectly, and deems that the user will continue to use the product incorrectly, the manufacturer reserves the right to cancel the purchase. A deduction will then be made for the benefit received by the user and for any rectification of defects not covered by the guarantee.
The following conditions are not covered by the warranty:
The parts warranty only covers replaced parts.
The warranty is void if modifications are made to the product without prior written authorization from the manufacturer. The warranty is also void if repairs are carried out with other than authorized spare parts or if maintenance according to the instructions has not been carried out on the product.
Direct or indirect damage and loss of earnings are not covered by the guarantee.
NOTE! The warranty does not cover the burner and its consumable parts.
SPT Plasmateknik AB grants a 24 month warranty for its products.
The warranty applies to power sources manufactured by SPT Plasmateknik AB (SPT). The warranty period is 24 months from date of delivery to end user, but not more than 30 months from delivery from factory. If the product is used more than normal 1-shift work, the warranty period is shortened accordingly.
Any warranty claim should be accompanied by proof of purchase.
SPT will take responsibility to repair a machine to the state it was in before the fault occurred.
The warranty covers spare parts and reimbursement for work carried out by an authorized service point. Labor costs are limited to a fixed rate for each action carried out.
Upon replacement of parts, SPT reserves the right to invoice parts. The invoices will be credited upon the return of faulty parts to SPT.
When a warranty claim occurs, the customer should immediately turn to an authorized service point, or SPT directly. SPT requires detailed information about the conditions under which the machine was in use when the fault occurred, such as location (indoor/outdoor), ambient temperature, power supply (generator/normal power supply - if generator, information is needed about the rating and type of generator).
When a machine is taken in for warranty repair it is required that the torch also is brought in with the consumables mounted that were there when the fault occurred.
The serial number must be clearly visible.
The user is responsible for limiting the damage by immediately stopping using the machine if a problem is suspected.
Warranty repair may only be carried out by authorized service points. SPT reserves the right to deny warranty claims where work has been carried out by non-authorized service personnel.
Should SPT find that the product has been used inappropriately and it is likely that such inappropriate use may continue, SPT reserves the right to refuse warranty repair and refund the customer, with a deduction for the use the customer has had of the product. SPT also reserves the right to restore the product to working order on the customer's expense.
Further, the warranty does not cover:
Fault finding, direct or indirect travel costs, transportation costs, travel costs, allowances, accommodation and such.
SPT bears no responsibility whatsoever for consequential damages caused by fault in its products, such as, but not limited to, loss of revenue, damages to3rd party, production delays, penalties etc.
The warranty is not valid if modifications of any kind has been made to the product, without the written approval from SPT. Repairs made by non-authorized service personnel renders the warranty void.
A modified product will be restored to the original state at the expense of the customer prior to any repair, as SPT cannot be responsible for the function of its products otherwise.
A replaced part will be covered by the original warranty. If less than 6 months remains from the warranty period, a replaced part will be covered for maximum months.
Disputes will be handled according to the general terms in Orgalime S 2012.
